Hatters Hostels Manager required Birmingham!
Hey there!
Hatters hostels are recruiting! We're a group of 4 family owned and well regarded hostels located in Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool. We love hostels and want someone that loves them too!
We believe in creating real travel experiences for real travelers and are very much hands on in getting involved with our guests.
We're now looking for an experienced, self motivated and fun loving person to take on our newly revamped Birmingham site. The hostel is 130 beds at present but will soon be 180 beds with a bar, catered/self catered facilities, meeting rooms, cinema rooms, games rooms and even a sauna! Hatters Birmingham was voted best hostel in England in 2011 by both Visit England and Hostelworld so there's alot to live up to :D
Successful candidate should ideally have at least 2 years experience managing a decent size hostel/hotel; be able to lead and motivate staff; be familiar with excel, budget targets, banking, reservation systems, revenue management etc. ; and also be able to bring there own ideas and style to the table. Oh, and to be fully conversant with backpack a definite bonus!
