The Entrance Backpackers is opening in September and is seeking a fulltime hostel manager. The Entrance Backpackers is a boutique hostel with 40 beds across four dorm rooms. The role involves running day to day operations of the business and is quite autonomous.
Ideal attributes:
- loves travelling and travellers
- local knowledge and experience
- warm and friendly
- hands on mentality

Must have:
-previous hostel management experience
- IT skills:
- Management skills
- Can do attitude

Job includes:
- reception duties; checking in/out, taking bookings, answering enquiries
- staff supervision; staff will be backpackers working for accommodation
- housekeeping; keeping place neat and tidy, stocking bathrooms and kitchen
- Online marketing/sales; social media updates
- Office admin, record keeping and banking.
