We are seeking a young, energetic receptionist for a medium-sized, youth/backpacker hostel targeting the 18-30 market, near Chelsea and Kensington. Your primary role will be reception, with light barwork and light cleaning so you must be able to speak English to a high level. As there is a good chance for promotion after 3 months, we would like someone with 6 months or more of experience working in a youth hostel as a head receptionist or similar environment, but not essential as training will be given. This is a live-out position. We are not looking for people who have had 5 years of managing a hostel (for example), but we are looking for people who have had a few years of hostel experience and wanting to progress into management. We want you to be able to learn from us, and us to learn from you. Please mention briefly why you would like to work in a hostel, along with your CV, nationality, and working status for the UK.
