We are a small hostel in Naguabo, Puerto Rico about an hour south of San Juan. We are looking for someone who can help us build some new furniture, made from recycled pallets to add to our balcony as well as our B & B just down the street. If you are able to help cut wood, sand and paint, as well as maybe some gardening and housekeeping duties, we'd love to hear from you. Ideally, we would like to have someone stay for a couple of weeks or so and see how things go. Eventually we will need someone to help us build a 2nd bathroom at the hostel (maybe after the beginning of the year). You don't need to be a professional plumber or contractor, but just be there to lend a helping hand and follow instructions. We would provide a bed to sleep in and <em>some</em> meals. It would be best if you had transportation, but if that is not possible, we can discuss transportation needs. We are accessible by public transportation, but once you are here, it's kind of hard to get out. We are located in a small fishing village that is about 30 minutes from the rainforest as well as Fajardo, where you can catch the ferry to Culebra or Vieques. Depending on how long you are staying, some off days would be provided for you to explore the area. We also have a beach within walking distance and we are also steps from the Malecon (boardwalk), where there are several bars and restaurants.
