Hostel Industry Press Release Submissions

 

Hostel Management International welcomes press releases and leads for hostel and budget travel news.  Unfortunately, due to the large number of submissions we receive, we can't always publish every press release we receive. However, press releases that conform to the guidelines below have a better chance of getting published.  

 

1.  Press releases should be short, concise, highly relevant to the hostel industry, and a complete description of an upcoming news event or a timely news report of an event that has just occurred.  

 

2.  Make sure the press release contains all the necessary who, what, when, where, why and how attributes.  

 

3.  Whenever possible, the press release should feature the people involved in the events.  We are less interested when the story is merely ABC Hostel is doing this or XYZ Company is doing that.  

 

4.  Press releases should contain the name of the person sending the press release along with the email and phone number of this person in case we have questions. 

 

5.  Press releases should state whether the material is for immediate publishing or if it should be published on a later date.

 

6.  Press releases that contain exclusive content that will not appear on other websites or publications require less editing on our part and therefore are more likely to get published as-is. 

 

7.  Press releases that include high-quality photos are much more likely to get published.
