Dingle Way Lodge / Lóistín Slí Chorca Dhuibhne (Formerly Dún Chaoin Youth Hostel) near Dingle is in a beautiful location beside the Blasket Islands with stunning views and great hiking trails. At the tip of the Dingle Peninsula, on Slea Head Drive and the Wild Atlantic Way (WWW) – so populmar people find it difficult to leave!
Dingle Way Lodge is located in a truly breathtaking corner of Ireland and holds the title of the most westerly hostel in Europe! Next stop: America!
We are on Slí Chorca Dhuibhne (the Dingle Way) and near Mt Brandon, Ireland’s second highest mountain. It is an Irish-speaking (Gaeltacht) area and regularly has students coming from around the globe to the area to hear, speak and learn the language.
The spectacular views of the Blasket Islands, the rugged cliffs which make up the coastline, the picturesque, narrow, winding pathway leading to the pier and the splendid sunsets are featured in many calendars, postcards and tourist brochures each year. This is also a great area for whale, dolphin and bird watching and there’s a huge population of seals. A great hostel for nature-lovers and linguists everywhere!
