Bucur’s Shelter is a cozy, home-style, first traditional Romanian hostel in the heart of Bucharest. The spirit of the Bucur’s Shelter is cool and vibrant, a place to feel at home, meet fellow travelers and other backpackers, relax, make friends and absorb the Bucharest vibe.
Friends of the hostel share a comfy lounge, a fully equipped communal kitchen and a spacious dining room where they can enjoy their morning coffee, take a meal together, trade stories and travel tips, or just relax and enjoy their time. We have free WiFi, tea & coffee, a basic breakfast, a big courtyard, free hugs and a lot of fun!

Located in the center of the city in Unirii neighborhood, our hostel is an easy walk to many local attractions, 7 minutes to Old Town and Victory Avenue, 10 minutes to the Palace of the Parliament, Carol Park and Universitatii Square, 5 minutes to Unirii metro stop, which connects you to all areas of the city.
Step around and you will find the cafes, nightclubs and pubs that give Old Town its reputation as one of the hotspots for nightlife in Bucharest. With easy access to all of Bucharest by foot and nearby bus lines and metro, we are certain you will find Bucur’s Shelter a great place to set out from in the morning and a relaxing place to return to at night. You can have a central location and a cheap accommodation in the heart of the city all in one :)
