Backpacker Hostel
Casa Caracol is one of the longest established backpackers in Andalucia, we opened in 2003 and just keeps getting better.
We are in a great location in the centre of the old town in Cadiz 5 minutes walk from the bus and train stations and less than a 10 minute walk to the nearest surfi beach.
Atmosphere and warmth are what really sets this little hostel apart from many others. Central to this are the warm, welcoming and fun staff. The building plays its part, lovingly renovated over the 13 years it has been open gives a feeling of slow evolution, openess and quirky design. Every year it gets more comfortable. Now all the bunk beds are bespoke wodden beds hand made by the owner. We are adding more en-suite bathrooms, later this year all but 3 rooms will have their own bathroom.
Just add to this an open air roof terrace filled with hammocks and plants ideal for that siesta chill.
