Front Desk Agent

The Auberge Nouvelle is a highly rated party hostel based in the lower garden district which hosts
a maximum of 65 guests per night. We’ve been voted “Best Hostel in USA” in 2016 and 2018 thus
far. Our international hostel boasts a rich diversity of people each day, an insurmountable amount
of socials, great parties and fun activities.

Vacancy overview:
Our Hostel is seeking a friendly, hospitable and fun person to manage our front desk. The
candidate may work up to 40 hours a week and must be able to work both day and evening shifts.
Our operating office hours are from 07:30 - 10pm.
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for assisting in the operation of the front desk and guest
services. Must be able to multi-task, and prioritize with excellent follow up skills and customer
service. Responsible for ensuring 100% satisfaction from the moment a guest arrives at the hostel
until they check out.

Responsibilities:
As a Front Desk Agent your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Greeting guests and checking them in and out, fulfilling guest requests during their stay,
answering telephone inquiries, making reservations, and other duties as assigned
Able to work through customer service related issues
Laundry services
Any other duties or responsibilities which might be required by the manager

Requirements:
Available on flexible shifts on Weekday, Weekends and Holidays.
Possessing strong written and verbal communication skills
Previous hospitality front desk experience
Proficient with technology
