Hostel at the Westcoast of Ireland is looking for a volunteer from March 2019 onwards

Thank you to everyone who considered coming to help us this year. We now have help for the next months but for next year
we are looking for someone to who would like to spend a few weeks or months helping us with all aspects of running a small rural Holiday Hostel in a remote village by the sea in County Mayo.
We can accommodate a maximum of 24 guests, most of our visitors are outdoor enthusiasts or simply looking for a few quiet, restful days surrounded by nature.
We keep poultry, pet pigs and we have a small dog. We have a vegetable garden and a large, wild garden with a little stream.
At the moment I run the Hostel single handedly so I am looking for help with everything from welcoming guests, cleaning, making food, improving our online presence to painting, weeding, repairing stone walls or simply just minding the house when I need to leave for a few hours.
We offer accommodation in a fully self contained brand new 'Sheperd's hut', pocket money for food, free Wifi.
There are good surf beaches in the area, cliff walks, bird watching and Gaeltacht areas close by. Ideally you bring your own car to get around easily.
If you like to meet people and make them feel at home, if you're independent, reliable, easy going and curious, if you can imagine yourself spending some time at the Irish Westcoast helping us for a few hours every day, then please contact me.
