Live-in Guest House Manager

Job Description:

We are currently hiring a Live – in Guest House Manager to our family run property. We have a facility of 10 boutique style bedrooms.

For the successful candidate we can offer £150-£250 / week including free accommodation. (A fully furnished apartment within the property) and food. The successful candidate is required to run the day to day operations and being responsible for the smooth of the business.

The candidate must be fully flexible.

You will be working alone and must be reliable and be able to think for yourself.

The duties will include, but not limited to :

Ensure the smooth running of accommodation facilities, including the safety and well-being of guests/ tenants
. • Develop and build positive relationships with residents/tenants.

Organise all the check-ins and check outs.
Answer all emails and telephone calls in a professional manner (including guest inquiries suppliers etc).
Organise Breakfast Services and Housekeeping.
Manage stock levels of cleaning and communal food items and order supplies
Liaise with other departments within the business
Arrange repairs and maintenance of the facilities
Inspect the accommodation to ensure that hygiene and health and safety regulations are met.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the building.

Recruiting and managing live in helpers and workaway(s) and all other staff
Effective management and pricing of the available inventory
You will be familiar with using a PMS and channel manager.Managing and maintaining appropriate staffing levels and will be essential to smooth operations.
Experience in a similar role is essential.
You will be familiar with cancellation policies and with working with OTA(s), Channel Managers and PMS (s ) systems.
