YellowSquare is seeking a passionate sales professional with a background in Leisure Sales and Tour Operator. YellowSquare is a multifunctional reality open to young travellers and locals. YellowSqaure operations include the Yellow Hostel, Yellow Bar, Yellow Guides, Trattoria Mamma Angela, Kitchen of Mamma cooking lessons, Old Distillery Escape Room and a collaboration with ContestaRockHair salon.
YellowSquare is not a place where you just lay your head to rest in a bunk bed, but it’s where you're entertained by live bands, go on shopping tours with locals and start your day off with some rooftop yoga, learn to cook gourmet meals, revamp your look in the contestarockhair salon and much more.
For this reason we are looking for a curious, creative and flexible professional, having high attention to details, willing to work in a team, ready for new challenges and focused on the specific target with which we work: young travelers 18-30 years old.
The successful candidate will work as part of the YellowSquare Vision Team, the innovation, marketing and sales department of the company.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the company overall revenue management, will focus on sales growth through client development and be responsible for the creation and implementation of travel packages and pro-active sales follow ups. The resource will be flexible and driven to seek out all potential sales opportunities and turn them into an active revenue source.
To become a Sales Lover at YellowSquare the successful candidate will demonstrate experience and confidence in dealing with: tour operators, group agents, direct groups, tourism offices, student youth groups, associations and events promoters. Key skills for the rola are: excellent negotiation, communication and public relations.
English and Italian languages are required.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Experience in the Tour Operator industry
Commercially savvy with a proven background to spot business opportunities
Knowledge of the target market: millennial travellers
Knowledge of the local and international market
Flexibility: working time and hours
Teamwork: coordinate work with assistants and other departments
Multitasking: work on different projects
Great negotiation skills
Using of PMS as Clock and Trekksoft
Managing and creating groups reservations and travel packages for single traveller and groups
Managing and creating new tours, activities and experiences
Creation and modification of rates, promotions, discounts and sales restrictions
Managing of rates and availability (tours and hostel)
Management of tour operators as Contiki, STA, EF, Viator, GetYourGuide, etc.
Creation and management of OTAS accounts, mapping, connections with the channels manager
Cooperation with other departments (reception, maintenance, cleaners, etc)
