22-bed hostel that's next to the most-visited attraction in Northern Ireland, UK

Starting from March 2014, we will always be looking for people that are outgoing and would hang out with and be great with guests. If you are funny, smart, outgoing, good with guests and thrives in the hostel atmosphere, you are welcome to come.

How it works is, you will be receiving free accommodation. In exchange, you will have to help in taking care of the hostel (22 beds). You will be required to help with cleaning, making beds, making breakfast and checking guests in and out. We will have 4 volunteers working together so you can work out your own schedule with the others. Everyone has to help with cleaning for an hour a day. And for the afternoons that you have to stay in the hostel to wait for guests to come, most of the time you will just be sitting in the hostel doing your own things - writing thesis, watching TV, going on the internet etc.

We have a very busy restaurant nearby and it constantly needs staff. You are welcome to take up paid part-time shifts at the restaurant. The owner of the restaurant will have to first look at your performance to decide though. You can also find your own job for your free time.

Our hostel is right next to the Giant's Causeway, the world heritage site by UNESCO and the most-visited attraction in Northern Ireland. Amazing view from the hostel. The whole northern Irish coast is spectacular as well - Rope bridge, White park bay, Dunluce castle, Ballintoy, Bushmills Distillery etc.

We take up to 4 volunteers at a time. And please only apply if you are planning to stay for more than 3 weeks.

We only organize volunteers 1 month in advance so email and contact us only 1 month before your arrival. If you are interested or have questions, please contact me at [email protected]
