Assistant Manager in Lively Liverpool City centre hostel

Main purpose of job:

To assist the General Manager and ensure a high consistent standard of operations within the hostel is being carried out and a high level of performance managed from reception team.

a) Responsible to: Hostel Manager.
b) Responsible for: Operations and Customer experience
c) Liaison with: Reception team/manager.

Assistant Manager Duties
• To ensure that the Customer experience is of the highest standard
• Provide supervision and support to the reception team and provide training when necessary
• To carry out Daily Management tasks to a high standard
• Ensure that day to day operations are of each department is being carried out
• Ensure that all complaints issues are dealt with and processed professionally
• Ensure that hostel rooms, corridors, common rooms etc… are clean and maintained to high standards
• To provide the link and support between reception/Housekeeping and Management
• To lead by example and always deal with things in a professional manner
• To cover and hold duties when the General Manager is away
• Help to organise staff meetings
