Following positions are still available:
Barkeeper:
You help out at the hostel bar and make sure people get their drinks and party hard at your bar. No bar experiences needed. We teach you everything you need to know! You start in the afternoon and work until the night.
Skills needed: English, even if its not perfect; outgoing personality
Housekeeping:
You assist our professional housekeepers. You help making breakfast and cleaning the dorms and common areas. You do the laundry and hang out with guests. You are mostly free in the evenings unless we need you for a big event.
Skills needed: Knowledge how to use a vaccum cleaner, working properly
IT-Pro
You assist the management with online marketing and social media. You are in charge of keeping our channels up to date. If your skills go even further better for us. We got a lot of online work to do.
Skills needed: Some IT skills including how to use MS Office and the common social media, you need your own computer.
Artist / Photograph/ Movie maker
Your task is to help us painting, decorating and spreading the vibes all over the hostel. We have walls and rooms to be decorated with your ideas. Also we need someone who takes pictures at the events we organize and who works together with the IT-Pro to keep our social channels up to date. If you even have movie skills you are warmly welcome to join our team and let your creativity go.
Skills needed: some painting skills or/and photo skills or/and movie skills. Your own camera would be cool
Construction and building
We have still a lot of interesting projects like an outside kitchen and a hostel bar which needs to be reconstructed. Maintaining inside and around the hostel is another task we are needing some help.
Skills needed: Construction skills and everything which is related.
For everybody there are the same rules and rewards:
- You work 5 days a week for 5 hours. You might work one day maybe 8 hours because of a big event and the next day you are off. We are pretty flexible about that.
- You work hard for us, we even work harder for you. You are not really into it, we kick your ass
- You get free accomocation in a dorm, free breakfast, free wifi, free laundry, free clubbing if you go out with the hostel, all the hostel activities like trekking, renting a bike, stand up paddeling, surfing lesson you get for free or with a huge discount, you get free cocktails if our bar manager is drunk enough and last but not least you get to know amazing people and you will have the summer of your life.
