Boise, Idaho: Idahostel House Manager
Idahostel, Boise's first and only hostel, is looking for a new house manager; OR a friendly couple to split management duties. We are a very small operation--10 beds, plus Boise State student housing and a few seasonal lofts. We are located in the heart of downtown Boise, and have the beat on the most fun concerts, recreation and art events in the area.
Requirements:
Must be 21+, extremely outgoing and friendly, a neat freak, and willing to take on Boise with guests. We are looking for someone who is easy to be around and gets along well with everyone, but is willing to be firm and uphold the house rules. Criminal background check required.
Duties:
Stay on top of the chores list for student housing. Keep all beds and linens in tidy order, and keep the laundry system running smoothly. Check guests in by appointment between 3pm-11pm. Run a tight daily till and report to the owner via email on a daily basis. Keep our events board brimming with fun new events around town for guests. Host and oversee house events, including Boise's First Thursday art events. Other duties, as needed. This position is designed to be worked in conjunction with a part time job elsewhere in downtown Boise, OR for a student with a flexible schedule.
Compensation:
Free housing, with a very nice office loft. Tons of perks across town and some other expenses comp'd.
