o Train the staff

o Staff selection
o Maintain files on all team members
o Facilitate conflict resolution between staff member
o Schedules
Reception and Customer Service
o Conduct check-in and checkout procedures
o Interact with guests
o Respond to emails
o Record and respond to guest concerns
o Maintain accurate reservation information
o Update bed allocation for online booking sites
Housekeeping
o Ensure quality standards for cleanliness
o Organize and implement a rotating schedule for deep cleaning each area of the hostel
o Submit a list of maintenance issues that are found while cleaning
Accounting and Budgeting
o Establish and follow an operational budget
o Maintain accurate records of expenses and revenue
o Create monthly Profit and Loss reports
