hostel in central Greece looking for experienced staff member
Hello everyone,
We, at Hostel Greco, are looking for an enthusiastic staff member to live and work with us in the hostel.
We are located in the centre of Kalampaka,a small town in Thessaly(central Greece)just under the holy rockforest of Meteora.
The main duties are : cleaning rooms and bathrooms, tiding up the common areas, preparing breakfast , ,reception( check in-out),payments,using the software for bookings and availability, doing laundry and folding bed-linen.
And of course welcoming and socializing with the guests(giving tips,maps,directions)
You are requested to work 48 hours a week.
Salary can be informed upon request.
We shall offer you a bed in a 6 bedded dorm .
Free access to all hostel's facilities: fridge, kitchen to prepare your own meals, wi-fi,laundry.
We require excellent use of English (a second language is a bonus), great communication skills, EU citizenship is a plus.
The ideal applicant would be someone who is lively, responsible, outgoing and likes to socialise with guests on a daily basis.
The position opens mid-end March so we're looking for someone who can arrive by the 19th of March at the latest. We require a minimum commitment of 4 months.It can be up to 7 months contract. Priority will be given to applicants who want to stay longer though.
