HOSTEL MANAGER: *Immediate Hire* 59 bed hostel - "The friendliest hostel in Belfast"!

We are seeking an energetic, bubbly hostel manager for a 59 bed hostel - "The friendliest hostel in Belfast"!
We are located centrally, and have excellent reviews on both HostelWorld and Hostelbookers.

The hostel is a beautiful, old building filled with character in the heart of Belfast - mere minutes from Botanic Avenue, Queen’s University and the city centre.

Filled with character, the hostel sports nightly BBQs, seated smoking area, walking tours, free hot breakfasts and has a welcoming, fun and comfortable atmosphere which our guests thoroughly enjoy. We encourage guests to meet, make friends and have fun in the hostel itself.

Leading a team of 8 staff/volunteers, you will strive to maintain and exceed current review ratings, cleanliness and maintenance of the building and ensure the guest experience is as enjoyable as it can be.

You will receive £200 per week and a small but nice private room, this is a live-in position.

The position will entail:

- Training Volunteer Staff Members
- Ensuring that all guests are made to feel welcome, and are receiving excellent advice and treatment whilst staying in the hostel
- Cooking breakfast each morning, and preparing a BBQ each evening
- Managing the booking systems in place, alongside staff
- Creating rotas for volunteer staff and ensuring that their work is completed to a high standard
- Liaising with Management to ensure building / fixtures / cleanliness is kept to a high standard.
- Being responsible for the hostel, and the safety of all guests.
- A good command of the English language is required.

*This list is not exhaustive. You will be managing a team of approx. 8 staff members, so workload is very manageable day to day.
