Hostel manager needed (New Zealand residents only)

New Zealanders or permanent residents only.

Live and work in Lake Tekapo for a minimum of 18 month.
We are looking for (a) hostel manager(s) to help run our 37 bed hostel in Lake Tekapo. Duties include
reception, cleaning, administration and maintenance.
Skills and experience required:


Fluent english, with conversational skills in german and preferrably some knowledge in
another language (japanese, french or mandarin)
Minimum 2 years experience in customer service/hospitality industry, with at least one
year as assistant/hostel/hotel or duty manager
Good working knowledge of the region (MacKenzie country) and trips, tours and activities
Administration and PC skills
Valid First Aid certificate
Hardworking, reliable, flexible, outgoing


The succesful candidate will live on-site in provided accommodation which is shared by other staff members.
