We are looking to fill the position of hostel manager from July/August 2023. Our top-rated hostel (for more info go to https://tortugabooluda.com) is located in the city center of the vibrant city of León, Nicaragua. We have always considered ourselves a home away from home for "tranquilo" travelers, a comfortable spot to return to after your adventures in and around our beautiful city (León is the perfect base for hiking volcanoes, kayaking or surfing, just to mention some activities... What makes our place special? We cater to all categories of guests, ranging from backpackers to couples and families looking for some extra comfort. And accordingly, we offer a variety of room options from dorm to private room with A/C.

Here's what our manager will be doing:

- managing a team of 5 local staff members
- overseeing and managing bookings
- overseeing cash and credit card payments
- interacting with guests
- interacting with tour operators, other hostels, partners
- organizing hostel activities

What profile are we looking for?

- you are an outgoing person with a love for hostels
- you are good at improvising
- Spanish is a big plus
- you enjoy being a leader without being arrogant
- you love the tropics (it does get hot in León)
- you are an organized and creative person
