Manager needed in beach-front caribbean hostel (Colombia)
Hi, we are the Dreamer hostels S.Marta and Palomino (Colombian caribbean coast)
we are looking for a Live-in Hostel Manager
Our hostel is considered one of the best in the region and all Colombia, capacity for 48 people, swimming pool restaurant and bar are only some of our facilities, opeed in 2012 we are now looking for a full time manager with great organizationals skills and professional attitude, attentive with details and costumer service, we are located in Palomino, small rural town well served by bus with S.Marta the closest big city where we have another hostel. Palomino is famous for its unspoiled beach and great weather (hot all year round) and for the amazing Sierra Nevada de S.Marta mountains right next to, with the glaciars and snow visible from all the town, this mountains is the highest in Colombia and the highest coastal mountain in the world.
We are looking for a 12-month minimum commitment, with a preference for a longer stay.
REQUIRED:
friendly personality
good level of Spanish and English
History of working/traveling abroad
Decision-making and problem-solving skills
Hostel or hotel management experience, some experience in bar and restaurant
maintain positive community relations
manage 14 locals workers
we offer::
Private cabana accommodations, three meals a day, and a monthly salary of $800. Upon successful completion of your agreed upon time, reimbursement for full flight costs will be considered and discussed.
