Opportunity in Ecuador
Hi All,
In a few weeks, Rincón d'Olón will open its doors, after over 8 months of construction work.
Situated in the beautiful little beach-town of Olón, Santa Elena, Ecuador, it's just a 20 minute walk or 2 minute taxi ride away from the world-famous Montañita. Rincón d'Olón is an upscale hostel-hotel build in European style with lots of amenities. We have 9 rooms available in total, of which 2 have bunk-beds and 5 are equipped with a small kitchen.
In the start-up period, basically up until the end of the next season in March 2016, we could surely use some help in making a name for ourselves. Work would consist of a mix between (online and real world) promotional activities & physical work. This includes helping out with cleaning in slow weeks (in busy weeks there will be help from a cleaning lady, who will come just a few hours once a week otherwise, which is not enough of course)
remuneration: Free stay (private room, afterwards possibly shared if we do well and need more help), food (within reason) & some pocket-money (depending a bit on total hours).
starting date: anywhere from now until December 2015
finishing date: not before march 2016 nor after June 2016
requirements: some Spanish, perfect English and 1 more language preferred. Must have some experience at least!
You will get plenty of opportunities to get to know the area including Montañita & the nightlife, if you want. But, at times we might need your help as a night-guard as well, especially the busier weekends of the year. In slower times there is no problem with taking a week or so off and travelling Ecuador. Please write more than just 1 line if you are really interested.
