Hey future Volunteer, We are soon opening a new coliving space in Portugal with ∼20 bedrooms and are now looking for 6 Volunteers to join our Property Renovation Team. We are remodeling a hotel/hostel property into a coliving space for digital nomads and remote workers and are looking for volunteers with a "get-things-done" mentality. The renovation project will start as soon as we have found the right property (Coast of South Portugal or Coast of West Portugal). We plan to work on the renovations between April and June. We estimate the project to take 6-8 weeks and hope that everyone involved can stay for the whole project length. We are expecting volunteers to work 30 hours per week. You will be working alongside other Volunteers, Interior Designer, Construction workers, and Project Manager with the following tasks: * Painting walls, floors, and exteriors. * Fixing and remodeling furniture to fit the new design style. * Moving old furniture/decor out and installing new. * Creating furniture from second-hand materials. * Other tasks are to renovate the hotel property into a coliving property. + Possibility to participate in social media content creation. What are we expecting from you? * Ability to work with a group and elevate the experience of others. * Get-things-done mentality - We have a tight schedule and we are looking for people quick on their feet and who don't mind getting their hands dirty. * Ability to learn quickly - You don't have to have previous experience but we expect you to quickly get familiar with renovation tasks. * Handy - Can use basic renovation tools. * Plus, if you have previous experience in renovating houses, rooms, or buildings.
