Receptionist position available, Malaga, Spain

Hi Everyone,

Our top rated 60+ beds hostel, located in sunny Malaga, southern Spain is looking for his/her next receptionist.

We would need someone that could come and start the training before the 15th of November with a starting date on the 1st of December.

The person we're looking for needs to:
- speak fluently English and Spanish (any other language is more than welcome)
- have experience in customer service, ideally tourism, hospitality or hostelling
- be able to commit for a minimum of 6 months
- have great communication skills, problem solving qualities, ability to organise theirselves to work in an independant way as well as with the rest of the team
- be able to work legally in the EU
- be outgoing and a hostel "customer" him/herself

We are offering a paid a full time (40 hours) receptionist position where you'll be doing all basic front desk duties such as:
- check-in/out
- provide touristic information
- offer and sell all extra activities (dinners, bike, tours...)
- help and assist our guests in anything they might need
- handle reservations
- always ensure the good state of our premises
