ABOUT US
Due to COVID19 and reduced global travellers, we are currently providing emergency accommodation and food to homeless people, refugees, vulnerable people and families. We are in Glasgow and operate 24 hours a day, every day. COVID19 has resulted in more people needing our help. We are helping make a difference to peoples lives.
We are a small hostel located in a residential area of Glasgow. Pre -COVID19, we welcomed travellers from all over the world. We are popular with school groups, individuals, city breakers, backpackers and solo female travelers. We are a good base for those looking to explore Glasgow and Edinburgh or act as a good stopover point for backpackers travelling to North Scotland. We believe in providing a clean, friendly and safe environment.

But now due to COVID19, we are providing emergency accommodation to homeless and vulnerable people.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a live-in receptionist to oversee the reception desk and laundry. To work closely with the cleaning, maintenance and night watch teams and ensure smooth operation of the hostel. We are a small hostel and limited receptionist duties so you may be expected to help in other areas such as gardening, cleaning and housekeeping.
In exchange, we offer a paid role, we provide free shared accommodation, free food, free laundry service, free WiFi, work experience and a reference. This is a great opportunity to make a direct impact to vulnerable people’s lives and you will have the chance to meet people from all over the world.
