Casa del Shiva is looking for an enthusiastic all rounder to assist with the daily running of the hostel. Your role will include delivering the perfect service to our guests and making sure their stay is as comfortable as possible. This will include making sure the hostel is clean and functioning at all times. On the reception you will be checking guests in, showing them around and giving them information of the local area and informing them of the extras we offer at the hostel. Ideally we are looking for someone who is good at selling extras and generating a profit for the hostel (like getting people drinking!!). You will be working for a bed and meals but with the opportunity to make commission by selling or arranging tours and doing some promotion work. There will also be bonuses for excellent customer reviews. You will be living in a fabulous house just a few mins away from the stunning Caribbean beaches to enjoy in your free time as well as the quality night life!!. Would be ideal for interns wanting to gain work experience in the hospitality or tourist industry. Can also be good for Spanish language or TEFL students or teachers as this is a nice quiet place for studying or teaching and as this is only a small hostel, the workload is not so high so you will have lots of free time in the day to study, teach or relax by the pool!
