A Tropical Winter Opportunity... Fun in the Sun! Paradise, Mexico
The Intenational Club Hostel (ICH - Cancun), is now one of the top-rated hostels in this corner of the Caribbean, and is poised for continued growth. We are seeking and scheduling work exchange staff to assist over our peak seasons (Winter/Spring), and are especially interested in those candidates who may translate into paid and leadership positions as our enterprise expands. However, all qualified candidates will be considered for the simple work exchange opportunity, to come and enjoy a slice of paradise this coming winter and spring.
Selected participants will work 24-30 hours per week (depending upon season and the immediate needs of the hostel), and may be assigned to a variety of functions, including housekeeping, reception, night watch, event host, cook/bartending, or general help/maintenance. We require a 1-3 month commitment. Multi-lingual applicants (especially Spanish/English) are encouraged to apply. Our casa is very nice and modern, and features 12 bedrooms, 5 full baths, 2 1/2 half baths, outdoor pool, stone bbq pit, and 2 rooftop patios.
IN EXCHANGE FOR YOUR DEDICATION, WE PROVIDE:
++ Bed and a hot breakfast, 7 days a week.
++ FREE food at our BBQs and dinners, 2-3 times a week.
++ FREE ENTRY and OPEN BAR when you host our guests to local nightclubs.
++ A fun and friendly environment for you to meet & mingle with world travelers.
++ Opportunity to earn xtra income at our poolside tiki bar (seasonal), and by volunteering for our promotional team.
++ Deeply discounted airline flights through our own travel agent to explore other destinations in North, Central, and South America during your time off.
++ Sun and sand in the tropics, while your family and friends may be shoveling snow and scraping ice. :)
Sorry, we cannot accept local residents from the Cancun area. We seek experienced world travelers and backpackers, or students who would like to live the life and learn more about the hostelling industry. We are looking to fill and schedule all positions for the next 6 months ASAP. We must first consider people who fit the general demographics of our guests. They are a younger crowd, ages 20-35. Please reply and apply only if you can commit to coming to Cancun according to schedule, and can spend up to 3 months with us.
