Volunteers and hostel worker needed in a cozy hostel in Thessaloniki-in north Greece
Hello everybody,
there will be a position available in our hostel from this Oktober till January.This is a full time job-8hrs per day,6 days per week.The usual shift will be from 15:00 till 23:00,although sometimes morning shift will be required.We need a social,reliable and hardworkin person to work and live with us.The tasks of this job are cleaning bathrooms,rooms and common areas,laundry and of course reception!We offer accomodation in a 4 bed dormy,kitchen facilities,wi-fi,fridge,laundry.The salary will be informed upon request.Minimum commitment is one month.
As far as the volunteers are conserned,they will not work more than 5 hrs per day.The task is making the guests feel cozy,giving directions,tips and recommendations,organise tours in the city,do the shopping and tidind up the common kitchen and the bed-linen.If you can or wish to organise sth on your own like a movie or a quiz night or even pub crawling,it is more than welcome to do so.In exchange we offer accomodation,laundry,kitchen facilities,fridge,wi-fi and if you decide to stay more than a week,one meal per day!
Of course you are all required to speak really fluent english.Greek,spanish,italian or german is a plus.
hello everyone this is Konstantinos.Im the owner of hostel Arabas in Thessaloniki city in Greece.It a very nice,cozy hostel based on traditional architecture of the old city!it is located not more than 15min from the city centre but it feels like you are in a nice small village far far away!the view from up here is unbelievable and the atmosphere is also great.I run this hostel since 2008 so i think there are many things to learn and to do.I invite you all to visit us in Greece,explore Thessaloniki,and live the experience with hostel arabas up in the old city!
