Work / Accommodation Exchange Position in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
We are offering a work/accommodation exchange in our Pousada (www.casa579.com) in Santa Teresa, Rio de Janeiro in return for help with the administration of the Pousada. The role includes:
- Greeting and orienting guests
- Ensuring rooms are maintained to standard
- Liasing with housekeeping staff
- Guest Liason during their stay
- Office Admin
- Assisting with Marketing (Facebook, Twitter, Blog etc) and Reservations
- Must love animals as we have very friendly dogs who need walking too!
Hours are approx 25-27 hours per week split over shifts. You will be working alongside two other people so days of work are flexible and arranged between the team to suit everyone.
You must be able to speak very good English and ideally intermediate Portuguese or Spanish as the job requires you to liase with English speaking guests and Portuguese speaking staff / suppliers. A good knowledge of Rio is also a bonus.
In return you will receive accommodation, breakfast and use of our laundry service. The house also has great facilities which you would be free to use (see www.casa579.com).
