English hotel professional with 17 years expereince for UK or PORTUGAL
With 17 years hospiytality expereince across all facets of the hotel industry I decided it was time to take a year out. I lived in Portugal for a year to absorb the culture, rest and learn the language. However, I couldnt stay idle for long and ended up working for my Airbnb hosts in assiting and improving their properties. From traditional country house's to converted apartments with 13+ studio rooms. From meet & greet to housekeeping pre and post stay to cooking and preparing breakfast. I also worked for an English family as an AuPair to two twin 8 year old boys, running their B&B of 8 rooms, 1 barn and a log cabin on their farm.
I am open to assiting or running a property in either the UK or Portugal:
PORTUGAL: Speak basic portuguese and still learning through my audio course (I read Portuguese better than I speak as everybody in Portugal wanted to speak English to practice). I am a British citizen so have no restrictions to work. I have a Portuguese resident certificate that is valid for 2 more years given I stayed longer than 3 months recently, I also have a fiscal number. I deally I would seek somewhere with accommodation or is able to provide temp accommodation while relocating. Salary: Negotiable
UK: British citizen - English native. GCSE, A-Level & 17 years hospitality experience. Salary expectations £25k+
