Kafka was right, Prague has sharp claws and does not let you go
I was born in São Paulo, Brazil. When I was 5 I moved to Aracaju, town in the northeast cost. I grew up there until 2001, when I was 18 and moved to Portugal (Porto). There I studied arts in an visual arts school before get a graduation in Gepgraphy and a post-graduation in Geographic Information Systems. In 2006 I med a czech girl and decided to move to Prague because of her. I have lived to Prague ever since, but in 2001 I decided to move definitely to Prague and build my life here. I love Prague deeply and do not imagine my life somewhere else. This city is special for me. I use to paraphrase Kafka: "Prague never lets you go…this dear little mother has sharp claws". I have a strong connection with arts, mainly Photography, Music and Literature. I used to play in some Punk bands in Portugal and I was playing in a acoustic rock band in Prague. I use to write a lot, mostly short tales, but I am developing some projects for books based on my life experiences and philosophy. I use to publish some of my writings here: http://errocrasso19.blogspot.cz/. I am completely obsessed by Photography, you can check out my Flickr profile: http://www.flickr.com/photos/julianomattos/, and my photo blog with technical reviews: http://diaphragm-photography.blogspot.cz/ I have travelled around several european countries (Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Slovenia and Austria) and have met people from everywhere. In 2011 I was studying as an erasmus student in Prague and lived in a huge student dormitory called Hostivar, where I met hundreds of people worldwide, many of them became real friends and I can say that whenever I go in Europe I have a friend waiting for me and offering me a place to stay, the same happens when some of them come back to visit me in Prague. My dream is to build my life in Prague and stay here forever, but I need to get a stable job and it is not so easy because I do not speak czech (yea, after being here several years I should learn, but it is not easy...). If you are reading this and have a job offer, please, do not hesitate. I am a very open-minded person who loves socialising, meeting new people and getting new experiences.
