Grounds & Maintainance Personel

Grounds and maintenance person - Euphoria needs a clever and creative individual to help maintain and evolve its house and grounds. He/She will listen to the needs of staff and tenants and imagine creative ecological solutions using tools and resources provided. Must have a drivers license and electrical knowledge is a plus.

Expected duties to include

Co-operate with Team to solve problems related to house and interior
Manage own time and projects
Make general repairs of rooms and furniture
Ensure all lights are working
Replace batteries of smoke detectors
Purchase & Transport Materials
Driving of company vehicles
Maintain care of provided tools and workshop
Answer phone and help with late night check ins

Grounds and Maintenance will answer to the Manager and Supervisor who will provide the list of needs of staff and tenants and approve purchases and solutions.

To qualify for the position the applicant must have,

Common sense and good problem solving ability
Open and friendly, able to take direction and constructive criticism
Can work in a team
experience with power tools and general house renovation
Have local or International Drivers license
Speaks English
Takes care with attention to detail

Volunteer postion

This is a volunteer job in exchange for accommodation and extra’s

The position requires approximately 25 casual hours per 5 day week in exchange for private accommodation free use of the house workshop, cars and access to all tenant resources -

Laundry
Internet
Projector/Stereo system
Carpark

Two days a week as holiday is a given and depending on the length of the contract longer time away can be negotiated.
