Sla Boutique Hostel

Sla is a modern hostel nestled in Phnom Penh that offers a place for travelers a place to unwind and meet people in a community environment. "Sla" is the Khmer word for the "areca catechu" or "areca betal palm." In Camboida, the Sla tree flower is often used in wedding ceremonies to dignify the bond between the man and wife during their exchange of vows. When the flower is thrown on the bride and groom, the thrower is wishing the newlyweds a long life happiness in matrimony. Here at Sla, we take the tradition a step forward and wish to bestow happiness in your travels! Our hostel offers four different types of rooms (female dormitory, male dormitory, co-ed dormitory, and private double room).

Our features include air conditioning, hot water for shower, a personal locker, 24-hour front desk, and free wi-fi in public areas. Our facilities include a community kitchen, a common dining table, an indoor patio, and a lounge bar. The community kitchen and dining area is a great place to meet and chat with other travelers. Our kitchen has basic cookware (pots, pans), dining ware (plates, bowls), utensils, and other kitchen appliances (microwave, refrigerator, toaster). The indoor patio is a hangout spot for your own relaxation or catching up and sharing traveling stories with other hostelers. Our patio was designed to give the feeling of being outdoor but inside. The furniture is spaciously laid out to give our guests their privacy and space. Our lounge bar is a perfect meeting area serving a variety of local fruit juices or smoothies, a selection of great basic mixed drinks and more.
