Our Kelowna hostel sits in the Okanagan Valley, an area that boasts hot summers, access to the snow in winters, and Canada’s only desert. The region is popular with wine lovers, boaters, nature enthusiasts, skiers and snowboarders. Kelowna makes an excellent base to break up the long drive to the Rockies, allowing you to take a dip in the lake and sample some of the excellent local produce, wine and beer. The area is very popular with Canadian vacationers in the summer, and houseboating on Lake Okanagan is almost a west coast rite of passage.

Kelowna also make a great base for exploring the region, including Kamloops, Osoyoos, Big White, Silverstar, Vernon and Apex. We also offer tours to the local wineries in the summer season. Plus we can point you to all the best restaurants, breweries, wine bars and nightlife in Kelowna proper.

Samesun’s Kelowna hostel is located in Central Kelowna, just off the highway and close to the lake. We are a short taxi or bus ride away from the main bus station. Our Kelowna hostel promotes a social atmosphere with our large common area and back patio which also includes a hot tub. The hostel offers a mix of dorms and private rooms, and also features a common room, outdoor patio area with barbecues, a large guest kitchen, guest laundry room, luggage storage, free breakfast and free wifi. We also have free onsite parking.
