We're the new hostel on "the world's most beautiful thermal island", Ischia, in the amazing Gulf of Naples. Ischia is an island of volcanic origins in Italy's Campania region, at the northern end of the Bay of Naples. The island boasts fourty kilometres of coastline to offer ample opportunities for sun-soaked relaxation. Inland, mountainous terrain awaits those who enjoy hiking. We run an action-packed social and adventure program each and everyday, from the moment you arrive… whether it's sipping wine in the hot springs, swimming in the grottos, or hiking the crater topped mountain for beautiful sunset panoramas of the Mediterranean, Capri and the other islands... What more could you ask for !
In 2012, Paradise Beach Hostel was erected on the island of Ischia, in the Gulf of Napoli - a location famed for stunning beaches, lively nightlife and a rich history; the perfect backdrop for what would be an entrepreneurial escapade for three friends from New Zealand, Australia and Austria. This Ischia Hostel of Paradise Beach was positioned at the right place, at the right time, giving birth to the first authentic and fun beach backpackers, Ischia has on the island.
Reaching Paradise Beach Hostel on Ischia, is no mean feat, the island is easily reached by ferries and hydrofoils from Naples, that take around 40min, which is on the north side of the bay opposite Capri and Sorrento. Ischia is a welcoming, affordable island which makes for a good place for a relaxing vacation, especially in spring and fall. Full of giant tropical gardens, romantic castles, white and black sand beaches, natural thermal springs, ancient ruins and crater-topped mountains. The water from the natural thermal springs, heated by volcanic action, is believed to be the most radioactive in Europe and is good for a variety of health and skin treatments, that have been popular since Greek and Roman times. Hot springs gush from everywhere, with the water ranging from 20c - 100c.
Paradise Beach Hostel will help you make the most of your stay. We are a social hostel, close to all the main sights and sounds on the island and we love Ischia enough to want you to love it too. Paradise Beach Hostel is a great place to stretch-out and forget all the expensive tourist traps vying for your dollars.
All the dorm rooms have free linen and ensuite bathrooms which are cleaned each day. We also offer FEMALE ONLY Dorms, and double or twin rooms to suit your privacy. Plus, among other things,

Go into a typical bar here and a beer is just 2€, an espresso 1€ or less, and amazingly cheap but great italian cuisine. You can sip sparkling wine in thermal hot springs while the world around you shivers, or taking up a BBQ to the top of the 789m peak of the island, with a sunset and a view over the Mediterranean, Capri and the other islands.
