We are located in Merida's Historic district 60 m. from the bus station, 8 blocks from the main plaza. We are sorrouded by history. Many bars and restaurants in the neighborhood.
We want travelers, not tourists, we design spaces and services for those who love to travel through the planet and in its route they seek to stay in the neighborhood where everything happens, sleep in a comfortable bed, clean spaces, especially bathrooms.
Guaya Hostel has design, as architect and owner there is pride in it. Guaya is a renovated house 100 yrs old.
We are not a house filled with beds, we did not buy wholesale bunk beds ; we worked with Don Jose the local carpenter to offer you a handcrafted comfortable bunk beds with extra height so you can sit at ease while you see your phone or tablet.
