The HI-Montreal Youth Hostel is centrally located in downtown Montreal where all the action is: nightclubs, irish pubs, trendy boutiques, Asian restaurants and even...an all-you-can-eat indian buffet! Given we wouldn't want you to miss out on all the fun...we have no curfew!!! So feel free to experience Montreal to its fullest!
We also have a cafe-bar on-site where you can enjoy breakfasts and dinners or simply have a drink with other travelers.
For the little chefs (or the broke ones), our kitchen provides you with all the basic ingredients to feed yourself: spices, oil, pancake batter, oatmeal, instant coffee, tea, etc. Feel free to help yourself, but leave some stuff behind for the others!
Our wonderful staff will be more than happy to give you tips on the best places to eat, some cool cafes, the most vibrating nightclubs, their favorite watering holes and much more. Just come and ask or visit our Facebook page for our daily suggestions!
We also organize free daily activities designed to make you discover the city and meet fellow travelers.
Current activities:
Sunday: Bar crawl (an experience you wont remember!)
Monday: Walk to Mt-Royal (enjoy Montreal's largest park)
Tuesday: Bar Crawl (experience the Latin Quarter at night)
Wednesday.: Urban walk (Montreal inside and out)
Thursday: Bar crawl (different bars, always great vibe)
Friday: Walk to Mt-Royal (poutine treat at the end!)
Saturday: Old Montreal (Discover Montreal's storied past)
Note that our outings and activities are open to all !!
So come on and visit us… we are very fun, loveable people and oh yes… clean too!!

Shared Rooms starting at 21$
Private rooms starting at 76$
Please note that the hostel is part of the Hostelling International network and thus has reduced rate HI card holders. An extra of 5$ per night for the dormitory or an extra of 10$ per private room per night will be charged upon arrival for the non-members.
