Casa Agua Vela is a little hostal ideally located between Cartagena and Barranquilla on the Colombian caribbean coast. Come and discover this unique place with an amazing view to the sea, a swimming pool and direct acces to the beach. Enjoy the wonderful sunsets from the terrace of the hostal. Restaurants, little market place and easy transportation nearby.
Santa Veronica is a peaceful fishing village, that offers a typical seaside atmosphere with restaurants on the beach, palm trees, colors and local music. Its inhabitants are really friendly people and going there from Cartagena or Barranquilla airports is very easy since the road is in the apropriate conditions.
Excellent wind conditions to practice water sports such as kitesurf and windsurf from december to july. Spot increasingly recognized in Colombia and abroad due to its excellent wind conditions. The other months in Santa Veronica bay, the weather and landscapes are perfect for the Catamaran, surf, suft, SUP, kayak or other activities on land such as mountain biking, cycling and excursions.
Near the hostal you’ll find: Cartagena, the Ciudad Amurallada, a world heritage according to the UNESCO. Barranquilla with all its culture and carnivals, Juan de Acosta, the Volcano Totumo, Piedra Pintada, Puerto Velero, Usiacuri, Puerto Colombia among other cultural places to visit.
