Both group or private bookings are welcome. The area is vibey both day and night. During the day, life revolves around the beach with kitesurfing, surfing, stand-up boarding SUP, running and cycling proving popular with locals. Blouberg Backpackers offers you the combination of private three bed, double bed, dormitory or en-suite accommodation and a lovely fully equipped kitchen, lounge, dining area with a chilled outdoor pergola and fire pit area for those wonderful hot summer days.
Cool down in the stunning beach style swimming pool. The private units have self catering kitchenettes that are en-suite also. Private rooms have smart TV or Satellite facilities and are lockable. Guests have access to BBQ / braai facilities and FREE Wi-Fi. We are conveniently situated across the road from a quaint Italian restaurant, Cheese Shop and Bayside Mall is a short walk away.
A buzzing nightlife exists by the main beach and also popular restaurants like Blue Peter and African Moyo are in the Bloubergstrand area. Blouberg Backpackers is just 30 minutes from Cape Town city centre and the V&A Waterfront. Guests can hop onto a MyCiTi bus stop nearby which can take you into the city or down the coastline.
Visit other attractions in the surrounding areas such as Robben Island, Table Mountain, the West Coast, Langebaan and Durbanville Hills wine estates just 20minutes away. Many Windsurfers, Kiteboarders and Surfers love staying at our accommodation due to the us being accessible to all beaches yet out of the the high winds after a day out on the beach.
