Backpacker Hostel
The Barmy Badger Backpackers, or "the Badger" as it is more affectionately known, opened it's doors in December 1997
Liz and Ken had travelled the world extensively in their late teens and early twenties and returned to the UK to set up a hostel catering to like-minded travellers offering good quality accommodation at budget prices. As the Badger is not attached to a bar, our focus is on the traveller experience. The Badger is also unique in that it is the only hostel in London which has 2 dogs. They only come in on Monday to Friday.
In our 20th year the Badger is still going strong, welcoming people from around the world!
